Do I need to have a keyboard in order to have piano lessons?
You do need a keyboard. Electronic keys are OK. Upright and grand pianos are both wonderful and students will be trained classically. But if you are worried about the cost, electronic keys are great alternatives because students have access to explore other sounds which makes it really fun!
What kind of keyboard should I get?
Click Here for a thorough breakdown of the differences between all kinds of keyboards include grand, upright, & electric. I highly recommend for students to have a piano preferably, a full sized (88-key), fully weighted keyboard if possible.
