Welcome to Cynthia Chou Piano & Voice Studio!
Cynthia is a dedicated music educator with a passion for helping students of all ages discover the joy of music. She holds degrees from UC Santa Barbara (B.A. in Western Art Music) and Northwestern University (M.M. in Music Education), and brings over 14+ years of experience in choir singing, 20+ years of piano, musical theatre, and accompanying.

Since 2015, Cynthia has taught more than 850 students around the world, directing choirs, teaching piano and voice, and inspiring young musicians to grow with confidence. She now teaches from her private studio in northern New Jersey—serving Englewood, Tenafly, Englewood Cliffs, Fort Lee, Edgewater, and nearby communities—as well as offering online lessons through Zoom.

At her studio, students can choose from piano lessons and/or voice lessons designed to build well-rounded musicianship. Cynthia believes music education should be joyful, creative, and meaningful. Her goal is to teach strong fundamentals while also encouraging collaboration, expression, and a lifelong love of music. Every student is guided not only to develop their skills, but also to grow as confident, creative individuals who can share their music with the world.
